Are Macintoshes affected by the SirCam virus?

Situation:
You have heard that there is a new email based virus threat that goes by any of the following names:
W32.SirCam.Worm
W32.SirCam.Worm@mm
W32/SirCam@mm
Backdoor.SirCam

You are wondering if there is any hazard of this worm/virus infecting your Macintosh.

Solution:
This is a Windows specific worm/virus and cannot infect or harm a Macintosh. But, being an email based virus, a Macintosh user could pass on the worm/virus, through infected email, to a Windows user.
