Run a tool to detect the most common viruses. RUN IT NOW

This scan only detects threats; it cannot remove them. You must remove any threats manually or by using a tool, if you have one.

In the Virus Detection section, click Start.
 Allow the scan to run. This scan can take a long time if you have a slow Internet connection.

Depending on the results of the scan, do one of the following:
 
  • If a threat is found, you will be sent to a Web page. The page has removal instructions or a tool that will remove the threat. After the threat is removed, install the program.
  • If no threat is found, go to "What if this didn't work."
