Ordering a subscription renewal using LiveUpdate

This page describes one of two ways that you can buy a subscription renewal. If you are not at the computer that needs its subscription renewed, read Options for renewing a subscription. |

Order a subscription by running LiveUpdate |

- Start the Norton product that has the expired subscription.

- At the top of the window, click LiveUpdate.
|

- In the LiveUpdate Wizard, click Next if it is available.
If LiveUpdate is in Express mode, the panel appears a little different from the following one, and you do not need to click Next.

- A "Synchronizing with Symantec server ...." message appears briefly:

- In the Symantec Renewal Center panel (also called "Subscription Services"), click Next.

- In the Web page that opens, select your country and language, and then click Go!

- 6
- Follow the instruction on the Web page to buy a subscription renewal or an upgrade.
When you purchase a program upgrade, you receive a one-year subscription when you install the new program. |

- If you bought a subscription renewal, do one of the following:

- If you choose to pay by check, follow the five steps listed on the Web page to send your payment. Your subscription key will be sent to you in a confirmation email message after payment is received.
- If you choose to pay by phone, make your payment by calling the phone number that is listed on the Web page.
- If you choose to pay by credit card, close the Web page window. You now see the Symantec Renewal Center (LiveUpdate) window that was behind the Web page. Follow the steps in that window to activate the subscription. Finish by running LiveUpdate to get your updates.
