| Duties : |
Candidate will be the business analyst to support business functions Finance / Tax / Treasury / Compliance (Export, PCI, SOX etc.,) for the on lines sales system as IT team member.
Works independently and able to establish a direction or strategy and may provide guidance to more junior Bas.
Engage with the business customer and may lead engagements with business customer owners on business processes and practices associated with the IT systems that implement, support or enable those processes and practices.
Analyze possible project engagements, documenting project scope (objectives, deliverables, critical success factors, assumptions, global and regional considerations, resource requirements), prioritization, cost/benefit, potential risks, and feasibility. Often leads such engagements.
Often leads the collection and analysis of data and information from business users to understand how systems can solve business problems, and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
Provide subject matter expertise for business customers and technical resources. Often serves as the subject matter expert. Maintain awareness of business process and technology solution best practices within a specific business segment.
May lead the definition of scope, objectives and business requirements. Performs research for potential solutions, and participates in the selection of potential solutions.
Participates in the production of, and may lead the definition and review of the content for user guides, training classes, and other end-user documentation for applications and processes.
May lead the verification activities that ensure that solutions meet business requirements. Activities may include leading the development of functional test scripts representing business processes, leading the engagement with customers in testing activities, and acting on the customers behalf in early testing stages. Understands the functional testing scenarios at a business and technical level.
- Will be the first point of contact for all production issues on daily basis. Responsible for analyzing the reported issues, work with business / QA / Dev teams to identify the severity / priority of the reported issues. Responsible for end to end support / on going maintenance of the system. Also pro-actively do health checks ahead of peak sales seasons / quarter / year close cycles. |

| Requirements : |
6-8 years -- Strong Analytical skills, Strong Written and Verbal communication skills, Data Flow or Use Case Modeling, Process Modeling, Project Management Training and Experience, ERP and/or CRM experience, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Proven experience of leading the finance process area on large scale on line sales systems. Knowledge or experience with Oracle ERP 11i is preferable in AR / GL module
