- Uncheck Process SYSTEM.INI File, Process WIN.INI File, and Load Startup Items.
- Check Load System Services if it is not checked.

- On the Startup tab, uncheck all of the files.
- You will checkmark some of these files in the next step, but this is the easiest way to make sure that all of the right files are checked.
