Using PARTINFO to gather partition information

  Use PARTINFO to gather partition information
Click one of the following to gather partition information using PARTINFO:

Download and run PARTINFO
Select your operating system:

I use Windows 98/Me

Click the button to download PartIn9x.zip. DOWNLOAD
 Save the file on your desktop when prompted.

Extract the PartIn9x.zip.

Inside the PartIn9x folder, double-click PartIn9x.exe.

Click Run.
I use Windows XP/2000/NT

Click the button to download PartInNT.zip. DOWNLOAD
 Save the file on your desktop when prompted.

Extract the PartInNT.zip.

Inside the PartInNT folder, double-click PartInNT.exe.

Click Run.
Run PARTINFO from Windows 9x, NT, 2000, or XP

Click Start > Programs > Norton PartitionMagic 8.0 > Norton PartitionMagic 8.0 Tools > PartitionInfo.

On the Physical Drive drop-down list, select the disk you want to run PARTINFO on.

If there are any numbers in the Errors column that are greater than 0, click the affected partition to view descriptions of the problems in the Disk & Partition Errors box (located in the top right corner of the PartitionInfo program screen).
 If there are only INFO messages listed in the box, then no actual errors were detected.

To save the PARTINFO as a text file, click Save As.

Type a name for the file, and then click Save.
