Create a custom Symantec Recovery Disk |

- Start Norton Ghost 12.0.
|

- On the File menu, click Create Recovery Disk.

- Click Next.
Make sure that you attach and turn on all storage and network devices that you want to have available in the recovery environment. |

- Insert the Symantec Recovery Disk in the CD/DVD Drive.

Note |
The Norton Ghost 12.0 product CD is used to install the product and to start a computer by using the recovery environment. This disk is known as Symantec Recovery Disk. Be sure to store the CD in a safe place. If you have purchased the download version of the product, download the Symantec Recovery Disk image file and create a Symantec Recovery Disk. | |

- Click Browse to select the CD drive, and then click OK.

- Click Automatic (Recommended), and then click Next.
The files that are required to create the Symantec Recovery Disk will be copied to the temporary files location. |

- When prompted, insert a blank CD in the drive, and then click OK.

- After writing the disc, click Finish.
To test the newly created Symantec Recovery Disk, click Test modified Symantec Recovery Disk (Restart required) before clicking Finish. | |
