Back up an entire computer by using the Define Backup Wizard |

- Start Norton Ghost 12.0.

- In the left pane, click Tasks.
|

- In the right pane, click Run or Manage Backups.
|

- In the Run or Manage Backups window, click Define New.
|

- In the Define Backup Wizard, click Back up my computer, and then click Next.

- In the Drives panel, click a single drive to select it, or hold down the Ctrl key and click multiple drives.

- In the "Recovery Point Type" panel, select the type of recovery point to create, and then click Next.

- In the Backup Destination panel, click Browse, and then navigate to the drive and folder where the recovery point will be saved.

- In the Options panel, type a name for the recovery point, and then click Next.
As you become more familiar with how the program works, you can change other options on this panel. |

- In the Backup Time panel, click one of the following options to tell Norton Ghost when to perform the backup:

- Manually (no schedule): Norton Ghost backs up your computer only when you tell it to do so.
- Scheduled: Norton Ghost backs up your computer on a schedule that you define.

- In the "Summary of Defined Backup" panel, review the options that you have set, and then check Run backup now.

- Click Finish to start the backup.
