Next time you restart your computer, the error message will not appear. This error appears because the update of Mac OS X 10.3.3 overwrites a configuration file for Norton Personal Firewall. This file is automatically re-created by Norton Personal Firewall, and this does not affect Norton Personal Firewall.  If you have Norton Personal Firewall 3.0, Norton AntiVirus 9.0, and Norton Privacy Control 2.0, then run LiveUpdate to update to the newest versions. 		To find your product version in Mac OS X In Mac OS X, the menu next to the Apple is called the "Application" menu because it changes to show which program you are working in. 1 Open the application. 2 Click Application Menu. (Substitute "Application" with the name of the application.) For example, if you launch Norton AntiVirus, the menu appears, "Norton AntiVirus," and you would choose "About Norton AntiVirus." 3 Select About <application>. The About window appears, displaying the version information. 4 Click OK to close the About window.   Note The "Application" menu is always the first menu next to the apple, and the About... is the first item in the menu. How to prevent the Norton Utilities alert from appearing at startup If you are receiving the following message when you start Mac OS X, then select the "Don't show this alert again" check box. When you select this check box, you will not see the alert again until there is another update to Mac OS X. If you have Norton Utilities 7.0.1 installed, then the message will differ slightly.
