How to backup and restore Identity Safe data in Norton Internet Security 2008

  Backup Identity Safe data

Start Norton Internet Security.

On the Norton Internet Security tab, click Tasks & Scans.

Click Manage Identity Safe Profile > Identity Safe Settings.

If you are not logged into Identity Safe, click Log In or Out of Identity Safe > Log In.

In the left pane, click Backup & Restore.

Click Backup.

Click Browse and select the location where you want to backup the Identitiy Safe passwords.
 For added security, you can assign a password to this backup.

Click OK.

Click OK.
            
  Restore Identity Safe data

Start Norton Internet Security.

On the Norton Internet Security tab, click Tasks & Scans.

Click Manage Identity Safe Profile > Identity Safe Settings.
  If you are not logged into Identity Safe, click Log In or Out of Identity Safe > Log In.

In the left pane, click Backup & Restore.

Click Restore.

When you receive the warning message, click Yes to confirm.

Click Browse and locate the backup file which you want to restore.
 If you have assigned a security password to the backup, enter the password.

Click OK.

Click OK.
