  Click the statement that best describes what you see
"Parental Control" is listed on the right
STEP 1
  Log on with a Norton Internet Security Supervisor account

Start Norton Internet Security.

In the Norton Internet Security dialog box, in the left pane, click User Accounts.

The type of account that you are logged on as is given after "You are logged on as:" 
  •  If you are logged on as "Supervisor,"  go to "STEP 2:  Scan for Internet-enabled programs and apply firewall rules using the program interface."
  •  If you are not logged on as "Supervisor," go to line 4 of this STEP.

Click Log Off.

If you are asked to confirm, click Yes.

Click Log On.

In the Account Name field, select Supervisor.

In the Password field, type your password.
If you have never assigned a password to the Supervisor account, leave this field blank.

Click OK.

You should see the following text: "You are logged on as: Supervisor."
STEP 2
  Scan for Internet-enabled programs and apply firewall rules using the program interface

Start Norton Internet Security.

Click Personal Firewall.

Click Configure.

On the Programs tab, do one of the following, depending on what you see: 
Manual Program Control list contains a list of programs
If the Manual Program Control list contains a list of programs, then click one of the rules
and press Ctrl+A on the keyboard.

After you select all of the rules in the list, click Remove, and then click Yes to confirm the
removal. After the rules are removed, click Program Scan.
Manual Program Control list does not contain a list of programs
If the Manual Program Control list does not contain a list of programs, then click Program
Scan
.

In the Program Scan panel, check the boxes next to all of the hard drives and partitions that are listed, and then click Next.
This may take from 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

After the Program Scan finishes, click Check All and click Yes, or manually select the programs that should have Internet access.

After you select the programs that should have Internet access, click Next.

On the final Program Scan window, click Finish.
You may leave the default selections as they are.

Click OK.
"Parental Control" is not listed on the right
