Uninstalling Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall 2004

STEP 2
  Uninstall Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall in Windows Control Panel

I use Windows XP/2000

Do one of the following:
 
  • In Windows XP, click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
  • In Windows 2000, click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

In the list of installed programs, click Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall, and then click Change or Remove.

Click Remove All.
The Remove All option also removes Norton AntiVirus.

Follow the on-screen prompts to continue with the removal.
I use Windows Me/98

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.

Double-click Add/Remove Programs.

On the Install/Uninstall tab, in the list of installed programs, click Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall, and then click Add/Remove.

In the Remove Application window, click Remove All to remove Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
The Remove All option also removes Norton AntiVirus.

Follow the on-screen prompts to continue with the removal.
