Responding to Security Alerts

When a Security Alert dialog box appears, a possible attack on your computer has been stopped.
The possible attack could be a hacker who is attempting to gain access to your system or a Trojan horse that was blocked. In either case, Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall did its job and stopped the attack from occurring. The choice that you make at the alert window does not affect the security of your computer.

How to respond to Security alerts
Because Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall stopped the possible attack, you do not need to take any action. At the alert window, if you want more information on the possible attack, select Yes and then click OK. If you want to close the alert window, select No and then click OK.
