Note |
After you have associated a network address with a Network Location profile, you may disassociate it and then reassociate it with a different profile. The various profiles have different program rule categories associated with them, and some are more restrictive than others. If you disassociate a network profile, you must recreate all program and custom rules for that profile the next time you use it. | |

- Open Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
|
- 2
- Click Personal Firewall.
|
- 4
- On the Locations tab, select the Network Location profile that you want to disassociate.
|
- 5
- Click Clear.
- If Automatic Network Detection is turned on, a pop-up window appears stating that Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall has detected a new network. Choose the profile that you want to associate with this network, and then click OK.

|
- 2
- Click Personal Firewall.
|
- 4
- To turn on Automatic Network Detection (default setting), check Automatic Network Detector; to disable this feature, uncheck it.
