Remove a virus scan in Norton AntiVirus |

- Start Norton AntiVirus.
- If Norton AntiVirus is installed as part of Norton SystemWorks or Norton Internet Security, then start that program.

- In the left pane, click Norton AntiVirus if it is listed.
- If it is not listed, go on to the next step.

- In the left pane, click Scan for Viruses.

- In the right pane, click the icon to the right of Scan my computer.

- On the Schedule tab, check Show multiple schedules in the lower left corner of the screen.

- Click the arrow beside the top text box, and then choose the scan that you want to remove.

- Start Norton AntiVirus.
- If Norton AntiVirus is installed as part of Norton Internet Security or Norton SystemWorks, then start that program.

- In the left pane, click Norton AntiVirus if it is listed.
- If it is not listed, go on to the next line.

- In the left pane, click Scan for Viruses or Scan Now.

- In the right pane, click Create Custom Scan.

- In the Norton AntiVirus Scan Wizard, click Next.

- Click the Add folders or Add files, and then add those items to your custom scan.

- After you finish adding the items that you want to scan, click Next.

- Type a name for the custom scan, and then click Finish.
