STEP 2		Install Norton AntiVirus
		1 Insert the installation CD into the CD-ROM drive. 2 In the Installation wizard, click Install Norton AntiVirus 2004 or Install Norton AntiVirus 2004 Professional Edition. 3 Click Yes to start the scan.  Once the scan begins, your options are: If you want to stop the scan, click Stop Scan. If you want to see the results of the scan, click View Details, and then click OK to exit the details panel. 4 In the Welcome screen appears, click Next to continue. 5 Read the License Agreement, click I accept the License Agreement. If you do not accept the License Agreement, you cannot continue the installation. 6 If prompted, type the product key. 7 In the Select the destination panel, select the folder where you want to install Norton AntiVirus.    If you want to accept the default location for the installation of Norton AntiVirus files, (C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus), click Next. In most cases, you should not change this location. If you prefer to install to a different location, click Browse, choose where you want to install the program, and click Next. 8 Click Next. The Installation Progress panel tracks the progress of the installation. Installation takes a few minutes. 9 When the files have been installed, then the readme.txt is displayed. This file contains important information about any known problems. Review this in case the information applies to your situation. 10 Click Next. 11 Click Finish. 12 Restart your computer, if prompted.

STEP 3		Configuration of Norton AntiVirus
		1 In the opening configuration panel, click Next. 2 Make sure that you are connected to the Internet before you continue with the activation and registration process.. 3 Select the action you wish to perform:  I want to activate and register my product now 1 Click Next to continue. 2 The personal information box appears. Fill out the information. 3 Click Next. 4 The Activation Complete dialog box appears when the activation is finished. 5 Click Next. 6 Click Next. The Post Install Tasks box appears. Select or clear these boxes as you prefer. 7 Click Finish to launch the tasks. I want to to activate my product now but skip registration 1 Click Next. 2 The Activation Complete dialog box appears when the activation is finished. 3 Click Next. 4 Click Next. The Post Install Tasks box appears. Select or clear these boxes as you prefer. 5 Click Finish to launch the tasks. I do not want to activate my product now/My product was already activated 1 Click Next. 2 Click Next. The Post Install Tasks box appears. Select or clear these boxes as you prefer. 3 Click Finish to launch the tasks. Note If you choose to activate later, you have 15 days to activate the program. At the end of that time, Norton AntiVirus will stop working.
