Obtaining the Microsoft Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

After you download and run the Microsoft Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, we recommend that you reinstall the Microsoft Installer.

STEP 1
Download and run the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

STEP 2
Download and install Microsoft Windows Installer

Get the Windows Installer from Microsoft download page for your operating system.

Windows XP/Windows 2000 (Service Pack 3 or later): Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable
Windows 2000 (Service Pack 2 or earlier): Windows Installer Redistributable for Windows NT and 2000.
Windows Me/98: Windows Installer Redistributable for Windows 95, 98 and Me.
