Situation:
This document describes how to uninstall Norton Internet Security, Norton Personal Firewall or Norton Internet Security 2002 Professional Edition.

Solution:
There are four ways to uninstall Norton Internet Security, Norton Personal Firewall or Norton Internet Security 2002 Professional Edition from your computer.
Complete these methods in the order given. If one does not work, try the next method. Once you have successfully uninstalled Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall you do not need to complete the remaining methods.

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. Click the Install/Uninstall tab for Windows 98/Me/NT.
4. Click Norton Internet Security, Norton Personal Firewall, or Norton Internet Security Professional in the list of installed programs, and then click Add/Remove.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts, and then click Yes or "Yes to all" as needed.

3. Click Norton Internet Security, Norton Personal Firewall, or Norton Internet Security Professional in the list of currently installed programs and then click Remove.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts, and then click Yes or "Yes to all" as needed.
