Script errors or Web pages display incorrectly when loading Web pages that use JavaScript

Situation:
When you access certain Web pages that use JavaScript, the pages:
--Do not load completely
--Display incorrectly
--Display an error message on the Web browser's status bar

If you are using Internet Explorer, you may also see a script debugger dialog box. These errors do not occur if Norton Internet Security or Personal Firewall is disabled.

Solution:
This problem can be resolved by clearing your Web browser's cache.

How to clear your Web browser's cache:

  1. Disable Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
  2. Close the browser.
  3. Clear your browser's cache. For instructions on clearing the cache, see the document Norton Internet Security does not delete cached Internet sites.
  4. Restart the browser and reconnect to the Web page.

References:
If this does not solve the problem, Ad Blocking may be preventing the display of a JavaScript drop-down menu or other JavaScript related parts of Web pages. In this case, read the document How to create a rule to override Ad Blocking.
