Turning off Script Blocking in Norton AntiVirus 2002, 2003 or 2004
Situation:
You want to turn off (disable) the script blocking feature when using Norton AntiVirus (NAV) 2002 or 2003.
Solution:
This document provides instructions on how to disable Script Blocking.
To disable Norton AntiVirus Script Blocking
- Start Norton AntiVirus.
- Click Options. If a menu appears when you click Options, then click Norton AntiVirus. The Norton AntiVirus Options dialog box appears.

- On the left side (under System), click Script Blocking.
- On the right side, uncheck the "Enable Script Blocking (recommended)" check box.
- Click OK.
- Restart the computer if prompted to do so.
