Turning off Script Blocking in Norton AntiVirus 2002, 2003 or 2004

Situation:
You want to turn off (disable) the script blocking feature when using Norton AntiVirus (NAV) 2002 or 2003.

Solution:
This document provides instructions on how to disable Script Blocking.

To disable Norton AntiVirus Script Blocking

  1. Start Norton AntiVirus.
  2. Click Options. If a menu appears when you click Options, then click Norton AntiVirus. The Norton AntiVirus Options dialog box appears.




  3. On the left side (under System), click Script Blocking.
  4. On the right side, uncheck the "Enable Script Blocking (recommended)" check box.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Restart the computer if prompted to do so.
