STEP 1		Print this page

STEP 2		Skip the Pre-Install scan and reinstall your Norton product
		1 Do one of the following:    If you install from a CD, insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. If you have downloaded your copy of the Norton product, double-click the file that you downloaded. If your product was provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), download the product again. 2 In the opening panel, click Install Product Name, where Product Name is the name of your Norton product.  3 Read the License Agreement, type your Product Key if prompted, and then click I Agree.  If you do not accept the License Agreement, you cannot continue the installation. 4 In the Installation Options panel, review the options, and then click Next. 5 In the Pre-Install Scan panel, click Skip Scan. 6  Follow the on-screen instructions.

STEP 3		Run LiveUpdate
		Run a tool to start LiveUpdate. RUN IT NOW

STEP 4		Run a full system scan
		1 Start Norton AntiVirus.  If Norton AntiVirus is installed as a part of Norton Internet Security or Norton SystemWorks, then start that program. 2 Select one of the following depending on your situation:   If you have Norton AntiVirus 2007, on the Norton AntiVirus tab, click Tasks & Scans. If you have Norton Internet Security 2007, on the Norton Internet Security tab, click Tasks & Scans. If you have Norton SystemWorks 2007, on the Norton AntiVirus tab, click Tasks & Scans.   3 Click Run a Scan, and then click Run Full System Scan.  Allow the scan to run. If a problem is found, you will see a link to more information.
