Temporarily turn off product protection |
|
|

- Start your Norton product.
|
- 2
- Do one of the following depending on your version of Norton product:
-
- For Norton 2007 product: On the Norton AntiVirus tab or Norton Internet Security tab, click Settings > Auto-Protect > Configure.
- For Norton 2006 or earlier product: Click Options > Norton AntiVirus.

- In the left pane, click Miscellaneous.
|
- 4
- In the right pane, under How to protect my product, depending on your program version, uncheck Turn on protection for my Symantec product or Turn protection on for my Symantec product.

Fix the LiveUpdate problem |

- Close all programs other than your Web browser.
|

- Download the tool. DOWNLOAD
- Save the file to your Windows desktop.
|
- 3
- On the desktop, double-click the 1845_reg.bat file that you downloaded.
- On some computers you may not see the .bat file extension.
