Error: "LU1812" even after running the Hotfix tool

Wait for two weeks

If the hotfix is not available, wait two weeks and then run the tool once again. RUN IT NOW

In most cases, Symantec will release a hotfix within that time. Keep in mind that Automatic LiveUpdate will continue to download critical security updates while you are waiting, so you are still protected during this time. If a hotfix is still not available in two weeks, then click the "What if this didn't work?" link at the bottom of this article.
