Uninstalling your Norton or Symantec product

If you need to remove your Norton or Symantec program from your computer, use the Add/Remove Programs option in the Windows Control Panel.

NOTE Note During the uninstall, Windows may note that it is installing software. This is a standard Microsoft installation message. This message can be ignored.
