Uninstalling your Norton or Symantec product

If you need to remove your Norton or Symantec program from your computer, use the Add/Remove Programs option in the Windows Control Panel.

Note During the uninstall, Windows may note that it is installing software. This is a standard Microsoft installation message. This message can be ignored.

The steps for uninstalling your product differ slightly, depending on what operating system you are using.

Choose the version of your operating system:

I have Windows Me/98

I have Windows XP

I have Windows 2000

I have Macintosh OS X

I have Windows Vista
