Make sure that you have administrative rights |

- Do the following, depending on your version of Windows:

- For Windows XP: Click Start > Programs or All Programs > Administrative Tools > Computer Management.
- For Windows 2000: Click Start > Settings > Control Panel. Then double-click Administrative Tools, and double-click Computer Management.

- In the left pane, double-click Local Users and Groups.

- In the right pane, double-click the user name that you used to log on.

- On the Member of tab look for the entry Administrators. Do the following, depending on whether you see that entry or not:

- If you see Administrators, then go to the section "What if this didn't work."
- If you do not see Administrators in the list, then restart the computer and log on as administrator or as a user with administrative rights. Then continue with the remaining steps in this section.

- On the Member of tab, click Add.

- Click Administrators, and then click OK.

- Click Apply, and then click OK.
