Virus scan fails after uninstalling and reinstalling a Norton 2005 program purchased from your computer manufacturer

 

            
  Download and run a tool to fix this

Close your Norton product and any other running programs.

Download the tool. DOWNLOAD IT NOW

On the Windows desktop, double-click RstEULA.exe.
4
When the tool finishes, run a virus scan.
