Symantec strongly recommends against using Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall and the Windows XP firewall at the same time. Although it is possible, due to the superior technology used by Norton Personal Firewall and Norton Internet Security and their additional features, there is no benefit in additionally running the Windows XP firewall.
