  Print this page
We recommend that you print this page before you start. PRINT

STEP 2
  Make sure that the computer's date is set correctly

Click Start > Control Panel > Date and Time.

Set the Month to this month and the Date to today's date.

Set the year to the current year.
This is the most important setting. Make sure that the year is set correctly.

Click OK.
STEP 3
  Synchronize your Norton product with the subscription server

Choose your Norton product:

  Download and run Intelligent Updater
Run a tool to update your virus definitions. RUN IT NOW
