Norton Save & Restore uses Norton Ghost's disk imaging technology to create an exact image of your hard drive without exiting Windows. Norton Save & Restore provides advanced features to do the following:

• Back up and recover your entire hard drive
• Limit the backup and recovery to only important files and folders
• Perform scheduled, on-demand, or event-driven backups to a wide range of media
• Automatically scan your computer and recommend which drives, files, and folders should be backed up

Norton Save & Restore protects all files of a certain type, such as photos or documents, by searching the hard drive and by backing up only those files. Norton Protection Center console integration allows you to manage your Norton security applications from a single easy-to-use interface. The Outbreak Alert trigger automatically starts a backup when Norton Internet Security 2006 or later is notified about a virus or worm outbreak. (Norton Internet Security 2006 is sold separately.)
