What is Norton Save & Restore?
Norton Save & Restore uses Norton Ghost's disk imaging technology to create an exact image of your hard drive without exiting Windows. Norton Save & Restore provides advanced features to do the following:
- Back up and recover your entire hard drive
- Limit the backup and recovery to only important files and folders
- Perform scheduled, on-demand, or event-driven backups to a wide range of media
- Automatically scan your computer and recommend which drives, files, and folders should be backed up
Norton Save & Restore supports the following versions of Windows:
- Windows XP Home
- Windows XP Professional
- Windows XP Media Center Edition

- The Outbreak Alert trigger automatically starts a backup when Norton Internet Security 2006 or later is notified about a virus or worm outbreak. (Norton Internet Security 2006 is sold separately.)
