Check whether you have the latest version of Norton Ghost 9.0 |

- On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Programs > Norton Ghost > Norton Ghost.

- Click Help > About Norton Ghost 9.0.

- Confirm that the version is 9.0.2.3981.

Run LiveUpdate |
|

- On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Programs > Norton Ghost >
Norton Ghost. |

- Click Help > LiveUpdate.

- Follow the on-screen instructions.
|
- 5
- Continue to run LiveUpdate until the LiveUpdate dialog box indicates
that your product is up to date.
- Restart your computer when you are asked during the LiveUpdate

Disable the GhostTray |
|

- On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Run.
|

- In the Open box, type the following text:
- msconfig
|
- 4
- On the Startup tab, uncheck GhostTray.
|
- 5
- Click Apply, and then click OK.
- The GhostTray will no longer load on startup, so you should not see the error message.
