Troubleshooting CD/DVD problems

Download and install the driver for GEAR software |

- Download the GEAR driver. DOWNLOAD NOW
Save the file onto the Windows desktop. |

- On your Windows desktop, double-click the Driver_Installer_x86_x64.exe file.

- When the Open File - Security Warning appears, click Run.
- If the User Account Control alert appears, click Allow.

- In the GEAR driver installer window, click Next.
|

- Read the License Agreement, click I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next.

- Enter the User Name and Organization, and then click Next.

- When you see the message "The InstallShield Wizard has successfully installed GEAR driver...", click Finish.

Download and run the CD/DVD drive fix tool |

- Download the FIXCD file. DOWNLOAD NOW
Save the file onto the Windows Desktop. |

- On the Windows desktop, double-click the fixcd.reg.

- Exit all programs and restart the computer.
