If you are running a Beta version of Windows 2000

Due to the frequent changes made while developing a beta OS, Symantec cannot guarantee any level of functionality of pcAnywhere with a beta version of Windows 2000.

We do not recommend installing pcAnywhere 9.0 under Windows 2000 Beta. During the Windows 2000 beta phase, Microsoft may have made changes to the video and the Graphical Identification and Authentication (GINA) subsystems. If pcAnywhere is not compatible with those changes, you may blue screen on restart and may not be able to restart Windows at all.

pcAnywhere Technical Support does not provide support for any version of pcAnywhere on any beta version of an operating system or application.

For information on the compatibility of pcAnywhere 9.x with Windows Millennium, please see the document pcAnywhere 9.x and Windows Millennium Edition.
