Error: "Crypto API not loaded" when using Symmetric or Public-Key Encryption with pcAnywhere

  2. Click the Security Options tab.
  3. Remove any encryption that is configured here, and then click OK.
  4. Exit and relaunch pcAnywhere.
  5. Right-click the Remote Control item, and then click Properties.
  6. Click the Security Options tab.
  7. Reconfigure the encryption level.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Repeat these steps for the host as well.

If the problem continues, ensure that the latest updates for your version of Internet Explorer (IE) has been applied.

To apply the latest updates for IE:

  2. Open Internet Explorer.
