How to end print capturing on a Novell network

Situation:
You want to do remote printing, but the local parallel ports are currently being captured by the Novell network.

Solution:
You can end NetWare print capturing by entering the appropriate command from the DOS prompt in an MS-DOS Command Prompt window. Possible commands are:

Novell NetWare 3.x

ENDCAP /L=1; Ends capturing on printer port LPT1
ENDCAP /A; Ends capturing in all printer ports

Novell NetWare 4.x

CAPTURE ENDCAP LOCAL=1; Ends the capture on printer port LPT1
CAPTURE ENDCAP ALL; Ends the capture of all printer ports

Under Novell NetWare 4.x, ENDCAP is a parameter of the CAPTURE command and not a command itself.
