Situation:
You want to determine whether pcAnywhere 9.x is compatible with Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me).

Solution:
Windows Me is an upgrade to Windows 98. In addition to all the features of Windows 98, it includes enhancements in the areas of PC health, digital media, home networking, and Internet access.

On September 29, 2000, Symantec released an in-line update for pcAnywhere 9.2.1. This new release is supported under Windows Me.

To obtain the update, manually download and install 921up.exe. This file updates any existing version of pcAnywhere 9.x to pcAnywhere 9.2.1. For more information about the latest update, please see the document pcAnywhere 9.x periodic update.

The operating systems supported by pcAnywhere 9.x include the following:

• Windows 95
• Windows 98
• Windows NT 4.0 SP4 (or higher)
• Windows 2000 (pcAnywhere 9.2 and 9.2.1 only)
• Windows Millennium (pcAnywhere 9.2.1 only)
