Situation:
You need to uninstall your Symantec Macintosh product from Mac OS X 10.3 (code named Panther). When you use the Symantec Uninstaller provided on the product CD, an error occurs during the uninstallation. The product is not successfully uninstalled.

Solution:
The Symantec Uninstaller included on the following Symantec product CDs is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.3 (code named Panther).

Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh 9.0
Norton Utilities for Macintosh 8.0
Norton Personal Firewall for Macintosh 3.0
Norton Internet Security for Macintosh 3.0
Norton SystemWorks for Macintosh 3.0

Symantec has created a new Symantec Uninstaller that is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3. This new installer is available to download from the Symantec Web site.
