How to uninstall a 2003-2004 Symantec Macintosh product

   Uninstall a 2003-2004 Symantec product in Mac OS X

Start the computer in Mac OS X.

Insert the product name CD into the CD-ROM drive, where product name is the name of your Symantec product for Mac OS X.
 The CD may be located on your desktop or in the Computer window. To open the Computer window, on the Go menu click Computer.

On the product name CD, open the Install for Mac OS X folder.

Open the UnInstall folder.
 Before you run the Symantec Uninstaller, be sure to quit the Symantec product that you intend to remove.

Double-click Symantec Uninstaller.

Check the box next to the software that you want to remove, and then click Uninstall.

Click Uninstall again to confirm that you want to delete the software.
