Situation:
You renewed your subscription service for Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh 7.0.x and received a subscription key. You need to know how to enter your subscription key.

If you have Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh version 5.0.x or 6.0.x, subscriptions are no longer available for your version. Please upgrade your version of Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh to the newest version.

Solution:
Once you receive your subscription key, follow the steps below. If you have not yet received a subscription key, read the document Information about Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh and Norton Internet Security subscriptions.

To enter your subscription key for Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh 7.0.x

1. Open Norton AntiVirus.
2. Click LiveUpdate.
3. Click Update Everything Now. The Virus Definitions Update Reminder appears.
   
   
   
   
4. Click Subscribe. The Virus Definitions Update Subscription window appears.
   
   
   
   
5. Enter your subscription key in the Confirmation Number field, then click OK.
6. The following screen is displayed when the subscription key is accepted:
   
   
   
   
7. Click OK. The LiveUpdate window appears.
8. Click Update Everything Now to automatically download and install available updates.
   

• If you received your subscription key in a confirmation email, subscription keys for several programs are included. Be sure to use the key for Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh 7.0.x.
• Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh 7.0.x subscription keys have nine numbers and do not include letters.
• Be careful to type your subscription key exactly as it appears.
