Submission procedures for unknown viruses
If your virus sample is 10 MB or smaller, you can submit the possible virus sample by using the Security Response online submission form. If the virus sample is larger than 10 MB, you must submit it on removable media such as a CD or a Zip disk.
When you send a possible virus sample on removable media, include a printed copy of a Macsubmit.txt file, an Apple System Profiler report, any infected files, and any suspicious files or programs.
