STEP 1

Enable the security settings in Internet Explorer

Note

If you are using Internet Explorer 7.0, run Liveupdate and restart the computer. Then go to STEP 3.

RUN IT NOW

1: Open Internet Explorer.

2: Click Tools > Internet Options.

3: Click the Advanced tab.

4: Under Security, check "Check for server certificate revocation".

5: Click Apply > OK.

6: Exit all programs, and then restart your computer.

STEP 3

Check for the connection.

Open the browser and try to connect to website.

If you are able to use the browser without certificate revocation error, you are finished with this document.
If you are getting certificate revocation error in the browser, go to STEP 4.

STEP 4

Download and run Intelligent Updater

1: Run a tool to update your virus definitions. RUN IT NOW

2: Restart the computer.

STEP 5

Run a full system scan

1: Start you Norton program.

2: On the Norton product tab, click Tasks & Scans.

3: Click Run a Scan, and then click Run Full System Scan.; Allow the scan to run. If a problem is found, you will see a link to more information.
