Install the product

I have the installation file on the desktop

To launch the installation menu, do one of the following:

In Norton Internet Security 2004, double-click the downloaded NIS2004.exe file.
In Norton Internet Security Professional 2004, double-click the downloaded NISp2004.exe file.
In Norton Personal Firewall 2004, double-click the downloaded NPF2004.exe file.

Click Install to start the Installer.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install the product.

I do not have the installation file on the desktop

Click Start > Run.

In the Run dialog box, type the following text:

%temp%

Click OK.

Double-click nisfiles.

Double-click Cdstart.exe.

Click Install.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install the product.
