Cannot see all of a Web page when Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall is installed

I have Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal 2006/2005/2004 |
|
- This problem can occur if functions such as, scripts, ActiveX controls, Java applets, referral information, and ads are blocked by specific Web rules.
|
|
|
|
How to determine whether Web rules are blocking the page |
|
|
- 1
- Open Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
|
- 2
- Double-click Privacy Control.
|
- 6
- Click OK.
- An entry is added to the list for that Web site. If the Web site was already listed, it is not added again.

- In the left frame, click the name of that Web site.
|
- 8
- In the right frame, click the Global Settings tab.
|

- Under Information about your browser, uncheck Use default settings.

- Under Information about visited sites, uncheck Use default settings.

- Under Scripts, uncheck Use default settings.

- Double click on Personal Firewall.
|
- 19
- In the "Customize Security Settings" window, look at both the Java applet and ActiveX boxes.
- If either or both are set to block, lower the security level

- Exit the program and try to connect to the Web page again.
