STEP 1
  Print this page

STEP 2
  Disable Symantec Protection

Start Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.

Do one of the following:
 
  • In Norton Internet Security, click Options > Norton Internet Security.
  • In Norton Person Firewall, click Options.

On the General tab, under Protect my product, uncheck Turn on protection for my Symantec product.

Click OK.

Exit Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
STEP 3
  Fix Intrusion Detection
Run a tool to fix Intrusion detection. RUN IT NOW
STEP 4
  Enable Symantec Protection

Start Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.

Do one of the following:
 
  • In Norton Internet Security, click Options > Norton Internet Security.
  • In Norton Person Firewall, click Options.

On the General tab, under Protect my product, check Turn on protection for my Symantec product.

Click OK.

Exit Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
