Run a tool to turn on the required Symantec services. RUN IT NOW |

Log on with a Norton Internet Security Supervisor account |

- Start Norton Internet Security.

- In the list, in the left pane, click User Accounts.

- "You are logged on as" shows how you are logged on:

- If you are logged on with the Supervisor account and still cannot modify the settings, go to the section "What if this did not work?"
- If you are not logged on with the Supervisor account, continue with the next line.

- If you are asked to confirm your choice, click Yes.

- In the Account Name field, select Supervisor.

- In the Password field, type your password.
- If you have never assigned a password to the Supervisor account, you may have to leave this field blank.

- Click OK.
- You should see the message "You are logged on as: Supervisor."
