What Instant Messaging programs does Norton Internet Security and Norton Personal Firewall Support?

Situation:
You want to know which Instant Messaging (IM) programs are compatible with Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall 2002 and 2003.

Solution:
Norton Internet Security and Norton Personal Firewall screen Confidential Information and prompt you to either permit or block the information from leaving your computer. Information such as credit card number, phone number, email address, or home address can be filtered through Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall. Norton Internet Security and Norton Personal Firewall supports the following IM programs

AOL Instant Messaging (AIM) version 5.1 or later.
Microsoft® Instant Messenger (MSN Messenger) version 6.0 or later.
Windows® Messenger version 4.0 or later.

Note: The IM filtering does not support the Netscape Instant Messenger from AOL that has been implemented into Netscape 6.2. Only the specific versions listed above have been tested. Later versions of IM programs released by the manufacturer may not work.
