STEP 2
Run LiveUpdate

Run a tool to start LiveUpdate. RUN IT NOW

Run LiveUpdate again, until you see the message there are no more updates available.

Restart the computer if prompted.

STEP 3
Disable Scan within compressed files

Start your Norton product.

Under the Norton product tab, click Settings.

Click Virus and Spyware Options.

Under Manual Scanning, click General Settings.

Uncheck Scan within compressed files.

Click OK.

STEP 4
Run a Full System Scan

Start your Norton product.

On the Norton product tab, click Tasks & Scans.

Click Run a Scan, and then click Run Full System Scan.
