Handling Home Page Protection Alerts in Norton AntiVirus 2006

You start Internet Explorer and you see the alert "Home Page Protection Alert: Norton AntiVirus has blocked an attempt to change your home page to a different address."

Symantec Home Page Protection detects when your home page is changed. Some security risks can change the home page without you knowing it, or you may have manually changed your home page. Whatever the reason, Home Page Protection alerts you of the change the next time that you start Internet Explorer.
