Removing files from Norton AntiVirus Quarantine

STEP 2
  Remove files from Norton AntiVirus Quarantine
I use Norton AntiVirus 2006

Start Norton AntiVirus.
 If Norton AntiVirus is installed as part of Norton SystemWorks or Norton Internet
Security, then start that program and click Norton AntiVirus.

In the left pane, click Reports.

Click View Norton Quarantined and Restore.

In the left pane, select the type of risk that you want to remove.

In the right pane, select the files that you want to remove.

Click Delete Item.

When you see the message "Warning! Are you sure that you want to remove this
item from Quarantine," click Yes.

Close the Quarantine window, and then exit Norton AntiVirus.
I use Norton AntiVirus 2005

Start Norton AntiVirus.
 If Norton AntiVirus is installed as part of Norton SystemWorks or Norton Internet
Security, then start that program and click Norton AntiVirus.

In the left pane, click Reports.

Click View Quarantined Items.

In the right pane, select the files that you want to remove.

Click Delete Item.

When you see the message "Warning! Are you sure that you want to remove this
item from Quarantine," click Yes.

Close the Quarantine window, and then exit Norton AntiVirus.
I use Norton AntiVirus 2004/2003

Start Norton AntiVirus.
 If Norton AntiVirus is installed as part of Norton SystemWorks or Norton Internet
Security, then start that program and click Norton AntiVirus.

In the left pane, click Reports.

In the right pane, click View Report to the right of Quarantined Items.

In the right pane, select the files that you want to remove.

Click Delete Item.

When you see the message "Warning! Are you sure that you want to remove this
item from Quarantine," click Yes.
7
Close the Quarantine window, and then exit Norton AntiVirus.
