Select your Norton product version:
|

I have a Norton 2008 product |
|

- Start your Norton product.
|
- 2
- Click Options > Norton AntiVirus or Norton Internet Security.
|

- In the left pane, click Real-Time Protection > Auto-Protect.
|
- 4
- In the right pane, at the bottom of the window, click Page Defaults.
|
- 5
- In the left pane, click Manual Scanning.
|
- 6
- In the right pane, at the bottom of the window, click Page Defaults.
|
|
|

I have a Norton 2007 product |
|
- 1
- Start your Norton product.
|
- 2
- On the product tab, click Settings.
|
- 3
- Under Basic Security, click Auto-Protect > Configure.
|
- 4
- In the Virus and Spyware Protection Options window, in the bottom-right corner, click Page Default.
|
- 5
- In the left pane, under Manual Scanning, click General Settings.
|
- 6
- In the right-pane, in the bottom-right corner, click Page Default.
|
|

I have a Norton 2006 or earlier product |
|

- Start your Norton product.
|
- 2
- Click Options > Norton AntiVirus.
|
- 3
- In the Norton AntiVirus Options dialog box, in the left pane, click Manual Scan.

- In the right pane, at the bottom of the window, click Page Defaults.

- In the left pane, click Auto-Protect.

- In the right pane, at the bottom of the window, click Page Defaults.
