Cannot connect to the Internet after uninstalling Norton AntiVirus
Situation:
After you uninstall Norton AntiVirus (NAV) and restart the computer, you are not able to connect to the Internet.
Solution:
This can happen if the uninstall process fails and leaves behind a Symantec registry value. Do the following to fix the problem:

How to back up the Windows registry for instructions.
- Click Start > Run. The Run dialog box appears.
- Type regedit and then click OK. The Registry Editor opens.
- Navigate to and select the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\DHCP
- Double-click the DependOnService value in the right window.
- Delete the SYMTDI entry from the list of items.
- Click OK.
- Click Registry, and then click Exit.
- Restart the computer.
